Chinese handset maker Vivo had launched the Y71 budget smartphone in India in April this year with a price tag of Rs. 10,990. Now, the company has launched a trimmed down version of the same dubbed as Vivo Y71i which has a few downgrades in terms of specifications and thus the pricing has been dropped to Rs. 8,990.
In terms of design it will look identical to the Y71. The phone will soon be made available in all leading offline stores across the country.
Vivo Y71i Features and Specifications:
The Vivo Y71i sports a 5.99-inch FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and resolution of 1440 X 720 pixels. The screen-to-body ratio of the display is 78% and i also comes with 2.5D Glass on top. It runs Android Oreo 8.0 operating system topped with Fun Touch 4.0 UI out of the box. The battery capacity of the device is 3,360mAh and it has fast charging support.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC along with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The onboard storage capacity is 16GB with an option to expand up to 256GB via microSD card.
For the camera buffs, there’s an 8-megapixel rear sensor with f/1.0 aperture and HDR mode. The front hosts a 5-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.2 aperture and AI beauty features. The front camera also doubles up as Face ID.
