Sony SAB’s most loved show Wagle Ki Duniya has been entertaining its viewers with its relatable storyline and much-admired characters. The upcoming episodes have a bittersweet narrative that gives us a deeper glimpse into the minds of the Wagle. In the upcoming episodes, the rain while being gracious will force everyone to remain indoors.
All the elders have gathered at the Wagle’s and are enjoying the weather with pakodas and chai. The kids, however, had some other plans before the heavy downpour. They all make plans to meet at Vivan’s house but unfortunately get stuck at the café because of the rains. The only person to make it to Vivan’s place was Sakhi. Due to the heavy rains, she is forced to spend the night at his place. Trying to enjoy the weather and making the most of it, they start dancing and share a fleeting moment where Sakhi contemplates finally confessing to Vivan how she feels about him. But when Rajesh finds out that Sakhi is stuck at Vivan’s place and that they are alone, the overprotective father in him awakens and is enraged, leading him to lash out at Sakhi, without consideration for the circumstances created by the relentless rains under which she had no option.
What will Rajesh do next? Will he overreact as he did in the past or will he give Sakhi a chance to explain? And will Sakhi confess her love to Vivan?
Sumeet Raghavan essaying the role of Rajesh Wagle said “There’s no downplaying the role of a father in his daughter’s life. He is supposed to protect and nurture her in the best ways known to him. And although the father-daughter relationship should be one of trust, fun, adventures, and mutual respect, in some cases, it doesn’t always happen. Rajesh loves Sakhi to bits, but his overprotectiveness often gets the better of him. The moment he finds her in a situation that isn’t ideal to his mind, another overtly protective side of him is unleashed he doesn’t really think as much. The upcoming episodes are a retrospect of our parenting styles that need to evolve and mutual trust needs to be the foundation of every relationship.”
