The much-awaited trailer of Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is finally out, shared by Yash Raj Films. The trailer launch saw a setup of different looms that make up the core of this movie.
The film’s plot is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the hugely acclaimed Make In India campaign. While Varun plays the role of Mauji a tailor, Anushka plays Mamta an embroiderer in the film. Interestingly, Varun and Anushka have been paired for the first time.

Taking the message of “Made in India” forward, the film modestly tries to bring back our traditional art forms and handicrafts in focus. The National Award-winning, dream-team of director Sharat Kataria and producer Maneesh Sharma have teamed up again for this film that is set to release on September 28 this year, just before Gandhi Jayanti.
