Sony Entertainment Television’s Mere Sai- Shraddha aur Saburi has made its mark in the minds of the viewers through its content by engaging the people in pure Sai devotion. Audiences have showered their love on the show since the beginning and the show has always been on the top in TRP charts. The show would be taking a leap and after that, the role of protagonist would be played by Tushar Dalvi. The makers were in search of someone who can essay the role of the Sai post leap and they thought the experience and maturity of Tushar will help him play the role with more ease. Not only that the makers have also decided to change the timing of the show on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi that is from 2nd September. Mere Sai would be telecasted at 7:00 pm Monday to Friday and Vighnaharta Ganesh at 7:30 PM Monday to Friday on Sony Entertainment Television.
When Tushar was contacted to share his feelings on being a part of Sony Entertainment Television’s longest running show, he said, “When this role came to me I was thrilled to know that the makers believe that I would be able to do justice to such an iconic character. I have been following the show since a long time and I am a huge fan of the show. Though I know I have big boots to fill as Abeer has created a benchmark, I would like to request the viewers to accept me with open arms as they accepted Abeer.”
