Iconic daily comedy show – ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (TMKOC) recently completed a remarkable 3100 episodes. India’s much-loved television sitcom is in its 13th year of uninterrupted run. It is India’s only family show that cuts across demographics to entertain audiences with humour. The show’s success is also attributed to its close connection with Indian society which it represents through its storyline and its characters. No wonder, the show’s Gokuldhaam Society which has become a landmark by itself, is often referred to as ‘Mini India’.

And now, with the creators of the world’s longest-running comedy show ramping up efforts to capitalize on its flagship brand’s popularity, with the introduction of the show’s animated version titled – ‘Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah’, is a step in the direction which will be followed by the launch of some very exciting merchandise for children.

According to a report on india.com, Joshi aka Jethalal gets a remuneration of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh per episode and is the highest-paid actor on the show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
