Nagpur : Social Security Branch (SSB) of City Police busted sex racket in New Manish Nagar and rescued four girls, besides arresting three persons including a woman. Arrested accused were identified as Krishna Tarachand Motwani (24), a resident of Sindhi Colony, Chikhali, District – Buldhana; Rupa alias Khushi Sunil Piwal (30), a resident of Khamla, Shiv Nagar and Ritesh alias Raj Bhavsingh Jadhav (25), a resident of Hiwra Tandi, Tehsil – Arwi, District- Wardha.
Umesh Besarkar, Police Inspector, SSB informed that they had been receiving information that flesh trade was going on in the apartment. The accused had taken two flats in the apartment on rent where the prostitution racket was operating for last four months. The police kept watch on the apartment to confirm the information.
Acting on a tip-off, the cops sent a dummy customer on Sunday evening. He fixed the deal and signaled the police when the accused Krishna accepted money. The police immediately raided the flat in Mauli Apartment, Guruchhaya Society, New Manish Nagar. The raiding party rescued four girls from the spot and sent them to rescue home. Two girls are residents of West Bengal while two others are native of Delhi and Mumbai. The accused were charging Rs 3,000 to each customer while the girl was getting Rs 10,000 per day.
An offence was registered against the accused under Sections 370 and 34 of Indian Penal Code read with Sub-section 3, 4 and 5 of PITA at Beltarodi Police Station. Under the guidance of Sambhaji Kadam, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Detection, the arrest was made by PI Vikram Goud, PI Besarkar, WPSI Smita Sonawane and staff including Damodar Rajurkar, Shitalaprasad Mishra, Yogesh Ghodki, Pralhad Dole, Suresh Sandekar, Chhaya Raut, Sadhna Chavan, Archana Raut, Dipika Donode, Anil Dubey and others.
