Artists from South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) Nagpur participated in the Kumbh at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh and delivered two performances leaving the audience spellbound.
The local artists rendered two presentations Swarkumbh and Yugandhar Krishna at the specially allotted campus of around 3000 square feet named SCZCC Angan. Kanchan Gadkari inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp. SCZCC Director Dr Dipak Khirwadkar, Director; North Central Cultural Centre; Prayagraj; Indrajeet Grover and Programme Officers Prem Tiwari and Deepak Kulkarni were prominently present on the occasion.
The female artists of Swaralii presented musical rendition. A ballet directed by Deepali Bhonge also mesmerised the audience. The other presentations at the programme included Pandwani singing (Chhattisgarh), Bonalu dance (Telangana), dhol kunitha dance (Karnataka) and Gangaur dance (Madya Pradesh).
