Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Simmba’ roars into Rs 100 crore club with big jump

The movie Simmba (Simba) took the box office by storm since opening day, and it continued to make excellent collection over the weekdays, and it has now crossed Rs 100 crore mark.

The Ranveer Singh starrer has had a good opening day collection of Rs 20.72 crore at the Indian box office. Since then Simmba has been roaring at the commercial circuits with huge numbers every day.

The movie had collected Rs 23.33 crore on Saturday and Rs 31.06 crore on Sunday, thereby, ending the first weekend on a successful note. While it was predicted that Simmba would witness a fall in its collection over the weekdays, the film remained unshakable at the box office even on Monday and Tuesday.

After earning Rs 21.24 crore on Monday, Simmba was just Rs 4 crore short of reaching the big milestone of Rs 100 crore mark. Tuesday (day 5) being a partial holiday (New Year), the action drama witnessed further jump in its business.

With a screen count of around 4.020 across India, Simmba collected Rs 28.19 crore at the domestic market on Tuesday, taking its 5 days total close to Rs 125 crore.
