The film was in rough waters recently. Earlier this year, the sets of the film were vandalised in Jaipur and the filmmaker was assaulted for allegedly distorting history. Now, the outfit behind the attack, the Shri Rajput Karni Sena, has burnt posters of Padmavati and is threatening to not allow the release of the film.
The film is slated to release on December 1.
