Nagpur: Good news again for the students awaiting a job in the railway sector, as the South East Central Railway division have invited applications to fill up a huge number of vacancies for railway recruitment 2017-18. Interested and eligible candidates should apply online soon.

Application Fees:
Candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee to apply for the examination through online mode from their account/debit card/credit card. However the SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list which will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in 10th and ITI marks in the trade and later a medical examination will be conducted.
Age Limit: The candidates should be between 15-24 years of age as on November 25, 2017. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD/Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50 per cent marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.

Age Limit: Applicants’ age should be between 15 and 24 years as on January 1, 2018. Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC & 10 years for Ex-serviceman & PWD candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Applicant should have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and passed ITI course in relevant trades from recognized institution.
Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs.100/- through online by using internet banking credit card, debit card etc. No fee is required for SC, ST, PWD & Women candidates.
