Nagpur : On 27th October 2018, Persistent Systems’ Nagpur Development Center completed 15 years of business operations in next generation software development. With a growing strength of close to 1200 employees, the Nagpur Development Center is the second largest center of Persistent Systems, after its headquarters in Pune. The center’s contribution is of considerable strategic importance to the company’s sustained and focused work in software and technology development.
Persistent Foundation’s CSR contribution in education, health and community development in Nagpur is also significant and it continues to support the Government of Maharashtra in their mission to overcome severe droughts through ‘Jalyukt Shivar Yojana’.
The company takes pride in the successful completion of 15 years in Nagpur and extends its gratitude for the acceptance and support of the people of Nagpur and the contributions of the center’s employees. They have been instrumental in the development of cutting edge software products and solutions and continue to help increase the company’s footprint in the technology ecosystem both in India, and globally.
The company commemorated the occasion with weeklong celebrations at the Nagpur Development Center with a special event inviting Government-Industry-Academia on 27th October 2018.
