Pawan Kalyan tests positive for Covid, actor undergoing treatment at his farmhouse.

Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan has tested positive for COVID-19 and is undergoing treatment at his farmhouse. The Telugu star is under home quarantine and a photo of him taking treatment while under home quarantine has surfaced on social media. Janasena’s chief complained of chest congestion after which he decided to take a Coronavirus test. Janasena’s official Twitter handle has released a statement giving an update about the Vakeel Saab actor’s health. The statement reveals Pawan Kalyan had taken the COVID-19 test on April 3 after he returned from a political event in Tirupati. He had tested negative then.

The statement reads, “On April 3, he took part in a padayatra in Tirupati, and ever since he returned back to Hyderabad, he felt sick. He was advised to get tested for Covid-19 and his initial reports were negative. The doctors advised him to isolate himself at his farmhouse. When he took the test again in two days, this time his result was positive. A virologist-cardiologist from Khammam is currently treating him.” Pawan Kalyan had also attended the pre-release event of Vakeel Saab on April 4. The actor’s team has stated that his brother, actor Chiranjeevi and sister-in-law Surekha have kept an eye on Pawan’s health.

They are also making arrangements so he gets the medical care required at his farmhouse. The actor still has congestion in his chest and is suffering from body pains. Treatment is being provided for all symptoms. Pawan Kalyan also released a statement, which reads, “My health is stable and I am fine. I will fight this and will soon be healthy.” The actor recently made a comeback to cinema with Venu Sriram’s Vakeel Saab, the Telugu remake of Pink. The film hit screens on April 9 and starred Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Ananya Nagalla also in lead roles. Shruti Haasan and Prakash Raj played key roles in the film that has received good responses.
