NMC officials paid rich tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Nagpur : Various organisations in the city paid rich tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sant Ravidas Maharaj in the city on Tuesday to mark their birth anniversaries.

Mayor Nanda Jichkar garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Gandhi Gate, Mahal in the city and paid tributes to the great Maratha leader. Deputy Mayor Deepraj Pardikar, former mayor Pravin datke, Chairman; Standing Committee; Bandu Raut, Corporators Neha Waghmare, Harshala Saable, Sandeep Sahare also paid respects to Shivaji Maharaj.

In yet another programme held at the NMC main office in Civil Lines, Jichkar garlanded the portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sant Ravidas Maharaj. Additional Municipal Commissioner; Ravindra Thakre, Additional Commissioner; Ram Joshi, Additional Commissioner; Aziz Sheikh also garlanded the photo. NMC PRO Ashok Kolkhakar, Rajesh Wasnik, Bhaiyyasaheb Bighane, Shivshankar Goure, Mohammed Ansari, Nilesh Bhanarkar, Ajay Singh Thakur, Anup Savaithul, Ashok Thote, Panjabrao Senikar, Kailash Chandankar, Mahadevrao Malkhede, Ajay Borkar, Bhaurao Tandekar, Dadarao Dandekar, Ramesh Sarve, Shivlal Gadre, Archana Girde, Suman Rajsurkar and employees and officials of NMC were present on the occasion.
