Nagpur: BSc Semester 4Mathematics 1 examination was annulled at the request of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) on Thursday following the question paper was distributed to students via an employee of a Gondia college. The examination will be held on the 6th of July.
It should be noted that the exam is conducted in the home centre and as such colleges are also making initiatives’ to boost their students’ marks. The incident that occurred on the Gondia’s Sakharam Deshmukh Mahila Mahavidyalaya on the Thursday was proof of this.
The Mathematics 1 paper of BSc students was scheduled on the 23rd of June, on a Thursday at 9.30 am.
The exam was scheduled conducted in MCQ format and in offline mode. In light of past experiences to avoid problems at the last minute The University was able to upload the papers at least 90 minutes before the date and time.
The process is that an authorized person from each college enters the password, prints the number of printouts required and then these printed copies of the question papers are distributed among the students. The exam was scheduled for 9.30 am, RTMNU released the paper around 8am. The office clerk at Gondia’s Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya Desai claimed to have downloaded the exam at 8.35 am. By 8.54 am students had downloaded the paper via the mobiles of their students.

We also informed the school that they will not be able hold any exams for this academic year. The issue has been reported to the Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC).
