Nagpur : The state of Maharashtra has a strong religious and cultural heritage. The long list of saints who enlightened masses with their soulful devotionals and the strong Warkari traditions have made it a blessed land.
Bhagavad Pada Sabha, MSK Patham Sabarimalai Group, Asthika Samaj, Karthikeya, Bhaktha Samaj South India Association South Indian Education Society and Shri Ramanuja Sabha have joined hands to offer the first Bhajanostavam in Nagpur between Friday 1st February and Sunday, 10th February 2019 under the Banner of Shri Kanchi Sankaracharya Swamigal Community Center Nagpur.
For the first time, several leading institutions of Nagpur have joined hands to bring Dakshina Bharatha Sampradaya Bhajans, Namasankeertanam to the citizens of Nagpur.
Many Bagavada groups from variations parts of South India will perform during the ten days in Bhakti Pravah which is inclusive of Warkari, by Shri Tukaram Ganapathy Maharaj, Marathi and Hindi Abhang. keertanas by various Bagavada groups.
The inaugural function will be at the hands of Shri. R. A. Sankaranarayanan, Managinf Director and CEO of Vijaya Bank in the presence of Shri Dr. V. Shankar, Chief Patron of the Bajanotsavam committee on 1st of February 2019 at 6 p.m. onwards.
From 2nd of February 2019 onwards these various group of bagavadas from Various part of South India will perform the Bhajan in dhakashina Bharthiya style and on 10th of February 2019 Sunday a grand poorna Pushkala Kalyana urchavam small be performed by Thirupanithura Shri Ramachandran Bagavada and group from Kerala. The function will finish with Hanuman Ji Utsav on 10 th February 2019 evening 6:30 PM by Bagavad Pada Sabha Bajan Mandali.
