Nagpur : Nagpur has secured 58th place among 100 cities with 1 lakh plus population in Central government’s Swachh Survekshan 2019, result of which was announced on March 6.
This year, Nagpur scored 3,160 marks out of 5,000. In 2017, Nagpur was ranked 137th among 434 cities with a population of over 1 lakh and 55 among 100 cities in 2018. The city has fared poorly as compared to its last year’s performance.
Mul in Chandrpur district is placed 3rd nationally with a score of 4,028 out of 5,000 after Karhad and Lonavla, in the rankings released by the ministry of housing and urban affairs on Wednesday.
