Nagpur : Karan Johar’s directorial debut starring Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji hit the screen 20 years ago. The film instantly became a fan favourite and people could not help but fall in love with the trio. The movie taught us the early definitions of love and friendship and gave us the iconic ‘Pyaar Dosti Hai’ dialogue.
As the film clocks in 20 years ago, fans all over India will be celebrating this massive achievement and posts from fans have flooded social media as they are paying homage to the ever iconic film.
It’s not just fans but seems like even the law-enforcement is using the important message of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to give out awareness. The twitter handle of the Nagpur police tweeted a still from the film and made it into a traffic meme. Take a look below.

Released on October 16, 1998, this love triangle saga narrated the tale of three individuals Rahul Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan), Tina (Rani Mukerji) and Anjali Sharma (Kajol). It was woven around their friendship and love stories and also starred Anupam Kher, Sana Saeed, Farida Jalal and Reema Lagoo in the lead role. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also had a cameo appearance in the film.
