Nagpur, October 8, 2021: Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2021, the twelfth edition of the flagship annual scholarship exam of Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), the national leader in test preparatory services, is set to offer up to 100% scholarships for Class VII-XII students to the institute’s most sought after NEET and IIT-JEE coaching programmes for aspiring doctors and engineers.

ANTHE 2021 will be held in both online and offline mode from December 4-12, 2021 across 24 states and union territories in the country. In addition to scholarships on tuition fees, top scorers will also be given cash awards.

The results of ANTHE 2021 will be declared on January 02, 2022, for Class X-XII students, and on January 04, 2022, for Class VII-IX students.

SRK’s Son, Aryan, In Court Today After Arrest In Drugs-On-Cruise Case

Mumbai: Aryan Khan, son of megastar Shah Rukh Khan, will be produced before a court in Mumbai today, a day after he and seven others were arrested following a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB.
The 23-year-old was produced in court on Sunday evening where the anti-drugs agency was granted custody of those arrested till today.

The high-profile raid on Sunday yielded 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA, and 5 grams of MD in all, the NCB has said. The charges brought against Aryan Khan include purchase, possession, and use of banned substances, it added.

Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde demanded bail, saying that his client had been arrested only on the basis of chat messages. “Aryan had no ticket, no cabin or seat onboard the cruise. He was there because he had been invited. He didn’t even have a boarding pass. Nothing has been found on him. He was arrested on the basis of chat only.”

Besides Aryan Khan, the anti-drugs agency arrested seven others who were detained from the ship – Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismet Singh, Mohawk Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gromit Chopra, Arbaaz Merchant.

The NCB team boarded the Goa-bound ship disguised as passengers on Saturday morning, sources said. According to officials, the party began after the ship left Mumbai and was at sea. The raids began at 10 am and went on till 2 pm, it said.

During the operation, the suspects were searched and different drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, undergarments, and purses, an NCB official told news agency PTI.

The cruise company in a statement on Sunday said it had nothing to do with the incident.

“India’s Vaccination Success Result Of…”: PM Modi On Covid, 2nd Wave

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has credited India’s “stunning success in vaccinating its people” to the country being atmanirbhar or self-reliant, adding that he made sure that technology formed the backbone of the vaccination process. On the question of negative press about his decisions, the Prime Minister said he attaches “big importance” to criticism.
Sixty-nine percent of the country’s adult population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 25 percent has taken both doses, the government said earlier this week. It aims to inoculate all eligible populations by December-end.

“Imagine if our country had not come up with a vaccine. What would be the situation? We know that a large population of the world doesn’t have access to Covid vaccines. Today, our success in vaccination is thanks to India being atmanirbhar,” PM Modi said in an interview to Open magazine.

The Prime Minister spotlighted how at a science conference a few years ago he suggested it was time to move away from “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan” and work on the mantra of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan (research)”. He said his government gives top priority to research.

“We started planning for the vaccination drive right in May 2020 when no vaccine was even close to approval anywhere in the world. We had decided as early as then that we did not want this vaccination drive to run in the old way where it could take decades to vaccinate people. We wanted this to run in a fast, efficient, discretion-free, and timebound manner,” said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister made a distinction between criticism and allegations. He said most people only level allegations, while criticism is rooted in research and hard work. “So sometimes, I miss critics,” he added.

“We need to look at the entire logistics, planning, and progress to understand the success of the vaccine drive. It is a huge effort with so many people mobilized across the country. I hope the media will take time out to highlight the efforts of our people in making the world’s largest vaccination drive a stunning success,” the PM told the magazine.

Two vaccines for coronavirus, Oxford University’s Covishield, which is developed by the Pune-based Serum Institute, and Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin, received emergency approval from the country’s drug regulator at the start of this year.

Elaborating his point, the Prime Minister said the poor today does not have to wait or pay a bribe to avail services he deserves. A poor migrant, said PM Modi, can take his second dose of vaccine in the city he works in, even if he took the first dose in his village. The technology ensures he gets the right vaccine at the right time and seamlessly, the Prime Minister said.

“When we compare India’s situation in the world, we have done better than many developed countries. However, we have in our midst vested interests whose only aim is to tarnish India’s name. COVID-19 was a global scourge with all countries equally affected. In this scenario, India has done better than its peers and many developed countries, notwithstanding such negative campaigns,” he said.

Reeling off numbers and his government’s focus on healthcare, the Prime Minister said from six All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in 2014, the nation is now building 22 such institutes; from 380 medical colleges in 2014, there are now around 560 such colleges. The government is also working on launching a massive scheme to boost health infrastructure that will address a lot of legacy issues, said the Prime Minister.

“We are actively focusing on preventive healthcare. From improved sanitation to water supply, from yoga to Ayurveda, from strengthening diagnostic centers in remote areas, we are doing it all,” he stressed.

गॅस दरवाढीचा भडका; केंद्राकडून ६२ टक्के वाढ, सीएनजी, पाईपगॅस महागणार

नवी दिल्ली :  पेट्रोल आणि डिझेल दरवाढीत जनता रोज होरपळत असतानाच या महागाईत केंद्र सरकारने आणखी गॅस दरवाढीचा भडका उडवला. केंद्राने नैसर्गिक वायूचा दर तब्बल 62 टक्क्यांनी वाढवल्यामुळे मुंबई, दिल्लीसारख्या महानगरांमध्ये स्वयंपाकाचा गॅस (पीएनजी) आणि वाहनांसाठीचा सीएनजी 10 ते 11 टक्के महागणार आहे. या निर्णयासोबतच पेट्रोलियम कंपन्यांनी व्यावसायिक सिलिंडरच्या किमतीत शुक्रवारपासूनच 43 रुपयांची वाढ केल्याने हॉटेलचालकांना मोठा दणका बसला आहे.

केंद्राच्या या निर्णयामुळे तीन पातळ्यांवर महागाईचा भडका उडू शकतो. स्वयंपाकासाठी वापरला जाणारा पीएनजी अर्थात पाईप गॅस महाग होईल. अलीकडे मोठ्या प्रमाणात सीएनजीवरील वाहने मुंबईसह महाराष्ट्रात धावतात. या वाहनांचा गॅसही महागणार. गॅसवर आधारित कारखान्यांचे खतही महाग होऊ शकते. त्याचबरोबर गॅसआधारित वीजनिर्मिती प्रकल्पांनाही वीजदर वाढवावे लागतील. यातील पीएनजी आणि सीएनजीचे दर सरळ 10 ते 11 टक्के वाढतील आणि ओघानेच मुंबई, ठाण्यासारख्या शहरांमध्ये प्रवास महाग होईल.

केंद्र सरकारने एप्रिल 2019 नंतर प्रथमच नैसर्गिक वायूची दरवाढ केली आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारातील वाढत्या दरांचे कारण केंद्राने दिले आहे. विशेष म्हणजे सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील ऑईल अँड नॅचरल गॅस कॉर्पोरेशन (ओएनजीसी) सध्या 6 हजार कोटी रुपयांच्या प्रचंड तुटीत आहे. ती तूट भरून काढण्यासाठीच केंद्राने गॅसचा भडका उडवला असे मानले जाते.

गॅस सिलिंडर महागल्याने हॉटेलच्या मेनू कार्डचे दरही भडकू शकतात. मागील महिन्यात एक सप्टेंबर रोजी व्यावसायिक सिलिंडरच्या दरात 75 रुपयांची वाढ करण्यात आली होती. आता त्यात पुन्हा महिनाभरातच वाढ करण्यात आली आहे. वाढीव दरानंतर मुंबईत 19 किलो व्यावसायिक सिलिंडरसाठी आता 1685 रुपये मोजावे लागणार आहेत.

व्यावसायिक गॅस सिलिंडरच्या किमती ऑगस्टमध्येही दुपटीने वाढल्या होत्या. इंडेनच्या व्यावसायिक गॅस सिलिंडर किमतीत 2021 मध्ये आतापर्यंत एकूण 404.50 रुपयांची वाढ झाली आहे. 31 डिसेंबर 2020 पर्यंत प्रति व्यावसायिक गॅस सिलिंडरची किंमत 1332 रुपये होती. अवघ्या 9 महिन्यांत ती वाढत जाऊन 1736.50 रुपयांवर पोहोचली आहे.

पेट्रोल-डिझेलचे दर उच्चांकी स्तरावर

जागतिक बाजारपेठेत कच्च्या तेलाचे दर कडाडल्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील तेल कंपन्यांनी शुक्रवारी इंधन दरात पुन्हा वाढ केली. तेल कंपन्यांनी पेट्रोलच्या दरात 25 पैशांची, तर डिझेलच्या दरात 30 पैशांची वाढ केली आहे. यानंतर देशाची राजधानी दिल्लीतील पेट्रोलचे प्रतिलिटरचे दर 101.89 रुपयांवर, तर डिझेलचे दर 90.17 रुपयांवर गेले आहेत. गेल्या तीन आठवड्यांच्या कालावधीत पेट्रोल दरात झालेली ही तिसरी वाढ असून डिझेल दरात झालेली सहावी वाढ आहे. मुंबईमध्ये पेट्रोलचे प्रतिलिटरचे दर आता 107.95 रुपयांवर, तर डिझेलचे दर 97.84 रुपयांवर गेले आहेत.

  • व्यावसायिक सिलिंडर दरात सतत वाढ होत असल्याने रेस्टॉरंटस्, हॉटेल्स, धाबे आणि बेकरी उत्पादनांसह इतर खाद्यांच्या दरात वाढ होणार आहे. साहजिकच ग्राहकांच्या खिशाला चाट बसणार आहे. त्यातही राज्यांचे कर वेगवेगळे आहेत. त्यामुळे महागाईच्या आगीत आणखी तेल ओतले जाणार आहे.

CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2021: Board Releases Schedule For Re-Evaluation

New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for re-evaluation, verification of marks, and obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer books of Class 12 Compartment result 2021.

According to the schedule released at the official site, candidates can apply for verification of marks of Class 12 Compartment results from October 4 to October 6, 2021.

The application fees of Rs 500 will be charged for each subject. Additionally, candidates can also apply for obtaining a photocopy of evaluated answer books. This facility will be available from October 13 to October 14, 2021. The application fees of Rs 700 will be charged per answer book.

Going by the schedule, the re-evaluation registration process will begin on October 18 and will continue till October 19, 2021. For each question, a candidate needs to pay Rs 100.

CBSE has said that the processing charges will not be accepted offline, they can only be deposited online via credit, debit card, or net banking.

Candidates must ensure that they submit a single application for each step. Multiple applications will be accepted in an online process.

CBSE declared the compartment exam results for 58,356 private and 1,732 patriarchal candidates on September 29. A total of 94,405 candidates had registered for the compartment exams, including 34,317 “regular” candidates for whom they served as improvement exams. They were declared passed earlier.

देवेंद्र फडणवीस : सरकारकडून फक्त घोषणाच, मराठवाड्याला मदत नाहीच

नागपूर: ज्यावेळी अतिवृष्टी होऊन मोठं नुकसान होत असतं. तेव्हा नजर आणीबाणीच्या आधारावरच मदत करता येते. व्यक्तिगत पंचनाम्याची तेव्हा गरज पडत नाही. पंचनामे होत राहतील. पण शेतकऱ्यांना तातडीने मदत करण्याची गरज आहे, असं विरोधी पक्षनेते देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी शुक्रवारी नागपूरात बोलताना सांगितलं. नागपूर विमानतळावर देवेंद्र फडणवीस प्रसारमाध्यमांशी बोलत होते.

फडणवीस म्हणाले की, कोरोनामुळे सातत्याने लहान घटक संकटात होते. त्यांना कोणतीही मदत स्वतंत्रपणे दिली जात नसताना या आकस्मिक संकटांनी शेतकरी, कष्टकरी, हातावर पोट असणारे घटक खचून जाणार नाहीत. याची काळजी राज्य सरकारने घेतली पाहिजे.

आज शेतकरी असो की समाजातील लहानातील लहान घटकाला मदतीची गरज आहे. त्याला पोकळ शब्द किंवा आश्वासनांची नाही, तर प्रत्यक्ष आणि तीही तातडीच्या मदतीची गरज आहे.

राज्य सरकारने यावर गांभीर्याने विचार करावा, ही कळकळीची विनंती आहे, असंही त्यांनी सांगितलं होतं. मंत्री आणि प्रमुख लोकं गेले तर प्रशासन जागं होतं. लोकांना दिलासा मिळतो. कोण तरी आपलं ऐकतं हे लोकांना समजतं.

मी सुद्धा उद्या दौऱ्यावर जाणार आहे. तीन दिवस जाणार आहे. वाशिमपासून माझा दौरा सुरू होत आहे. सरकारला पूरपरिस्थितीची माहिती देऊन जास्तीत जास्त मदत मिळवून घेण्याचा प्रयत्न करू, असं फडणवीस यांनी सांगितलं.

राज्यात आतापर्यंत ज्या ज्या आपत्ती आल्या, त्यावेळी केलेल्या सर्व घोषणा हवेत विरल्या आहेत. कोणत्याच घोषणेची पूर्तता झाली नाही.

कागदावरच घोषणा राहिल्या. ही वास्तविकता आहे. आमच्या सरकारने जो जीआर काढला होता. तशीच मदत देऊ असं त्यांनी सांगितलं होतं. पण ती मदतही त्यांनी अद्याप दिलेली नाही, असंही त्यांनी सांगितलं.

दरम्यान, फडणवीस यांनी या आधी तीन ट्विट करून सरकारकडे पूरग्रस्तांना मदत देण्याची मागणी केली होती. राज्यात विशेषत: मराठवाड्यात पावसाने प्रचंड नुकसान झाले आहे.

लाखो हेक्टरवर पिकांचे मोठे नुकसान झाले आहे. राज्य सरकारने मराठवाड्यातील शेतकर्‍यांना तत्काळ मदत दिली पाहिजे. निसर्ग, तौक्ते ही दोन चक्रीवादळं आणि पुराची कोकणात अजून मदत मिळाली नाही. अशात मराठवाड्यासंदर्भात जी माहिती राज्य सरकारनेच दिली, ती अतिशय धक्कादायक आहे.

यंदाच्या पावसाळ्यात ४३६ लोकांना आपले प्राण गमवावे लागले, यातूनच या स्थितीची भीषणता लक्षात येते. मोठ्या प्रमाणात शेतीचे नुकसान झाल्याने शेतकरी मोठ्या संकटात आहे, असं ते म्हणाले होते.

Blog: PK Was Set To Join The Congress. So Why Didn’t It Happen?

In the middle of July this year, images went viral of political strategist Prashant Kishor entering Rahul Gandhi’s residence in central Delhi.

It was the first indication that Kishor, considered the architect of a number of electoral victories, mainly of regional parties, was in talks with India’s main opposition party, making for dizzying headlines.

At the time, sources familiar with the developments told that the July meeting was not the first between Mr. Kishor and the Gandhis and that both sides were working on an arrangement where “PK”, as he is known, would not serve as a political consultant, but, in fact, formally join the Congress. All this was playing out weeks after PK, in an exclusive interview said that he was retiring as an electoral strategist. So, the fact that he was considering joining politics did not seem unviable; in fact, it seemed like a natural progression from that announcement made on.

The arrangement that the Congress and PK were trying to decide on, was told, was to work on ‘something bigger than just the upcoming state elections, an ambitious plan to use PK’s skills to revive the faltering fortunes of the Congress in the run-up the 2024 general election.

And then suddenly, without explanation, things went cold.

One explanation for why lies in the revelation of a former Chief Minister of Goa, Luizinho Faleiro, who crossed over earlier this week from the Congress to the Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) just months before the coastal state votes for its next government. Speaking to Mr. Faleiro said that it was PK and his group, I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee), which had approached him to switch to Mamata Banerjee’s party. “Of course, he had approached me. Just a few days back,” he said.

At a press conference in Panaji, Mr. Faleiro was even more explicit. “Believe it or not, I never met them (Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee). They are great leaders. But I did not meet them. I met I-PAC, I met Mr. Prashant Kishor of I-PAC. Just before I took the decision, we had the interaction.”

If Mr. Faleiro is to be believed, PK was and is helping expand the political footprint of the TMC in areas where the Congress has been enervated, even while he was in talks with the Congress over reviving its fortunes. This possible conflict of interest, some in Congress say, may have contributed to a certain cooling off in pursuing matters with PK. (Further evidence of the continuing deep ties between PK and the TMC surfaced when it emerged last week that Prashant Kishor, a native of Bihar, was registered as a voter in Bhabhanipur in West Bengal, the constituency being contested by Mamta Banerjee for election to the state legislature).

PK’s camp, however, points out that he had registered as a voter in Bhabhanipur earlier this year before the state election as a preemptive move after reports suggested that the BJP was considering a move to oust him and his outfit during the poll period from West Bengal on grounds that they were outsiders. PK’s outfit is also meant to be working to spearhead the TMC’s push in the North East; recently, Congress’ Assam MP Sushmita Deb became another high-profile leader to join the TMC.

Sources close to PK maintain that this is not quite the case and that I-PAC’s continuing work with its other clients was discussed at length in his talks with the Congress leadership. The reason for the pause in talks, as per these sources, is almost solely to do with a disagreement over the timing of PK’s entry into the Congress: while the Congress leadership is keen for him to join at once, and begin work on the coming assembly elections in February in states including Uttar Pradesh, PK is adamant that he will only join after those elections. The reason, it was argued, is that the February elections are too close at hand, not giving PK enough time to make the Congress battle-ready in those states. Prashant Kishor reportedly told the Congress top brass that he will be fully on board for all the elections after February, up until and including the big Lok Sabha battle in 2024.

The other reason for the possible standstill in the PK-Congress talks could be reservations of some within the Congress over PK’s designation and mandate.

A four-member Congress panel (comprising Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, AK Anthony, KC Venugopal, and Ambika Soni), meant to advise Sonia Gandhi on political matters, is said to have sought the views of a large section of the Congress’ top leadership on PK’s entry. While most were said to be in favor, some leaders are believed to have suggested that PK’s designation and role be confined only to managing elections.

This, sources close to PK maintain, runs contrary to his talks with the Congress leadership, in which both sides reportedly were in favor of a more sweeping role for PK, one in which he would have been empowered to intervene in almost all aspects of decision-making within the party.

Regardless of the conflicting claims, it appears that for now, what was a potential headline-making partnership between India’s beleaguered Grand Old Party and a rising political upstart, has come to a standstill.

Tata Group and SpiceJet chairman Ajay Singh in his private capacity had bid for the embattled state-run Air India earlier this month. In December 2020, the government had invited expression of interest for the divestment of Air India. Four bidders had entered the race to take over the beleaguered airline, but Tata Group and Spicejet CEO Ajay Singh were the only ones to make it to the final stage.

This has been the second attempt by the PM Modi-led government to sell Air India. The centre had made an unsuccessful attempt to sell the ailing airline earlier in March 2018. “Skin-To-Skin Condition Disastrous For Sex Assault Cases” New Delhi: The provision defining the offence of sexual assault against children under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act must be looked at from the “victim’s perspective” and if the “sexual intent” is present, then the offence is made out even without “skin-to-skin contact”, the Supreme Court Thursday observed.

A bench headed by Justice UU Lalit stressed the intent to commit the sexual offence and said the results would be “disastrous” if the term “physical contact” in the provision is interpreted in a way where the skin-to-skin contact becomes necessary for constituting the offence.

The top court reserved its verdict on two appeals filed against the Bombay High Court verdict, which had come under intense scrutiny, and had held that no offence of sexual assault under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act is made out if there is no direct “skin-to-skin contact between accused and the victim.

The bench, also comprising Justices S Ravindra Bhat and Bela M Trivedi, discussed threadbare the definition of Section 7 of the POCSO Act which deals with the offence of sexual assault against the children.

The provision says: “Whoever, with sexual intent, touches the vagina, penis, anus or breast of the child or makes the child touch the vagina, penis, anus or breast of such person or any other person, or does any other act with sexual intent which involves physical contact without penetration is said to commit sexual assault.” Skin-To-Skin Condition.

“So, therefore, the primary thing is that if the sexual intent is proved then everything will fall in place,” the bench orally observed while expressing its reservation on the interpretation made by the high court.

Senior advocate Siddharth Luthra, appearing for the convict in the case as an amicus curiae, referred to the contents of the provision and said that there were issues with the first part of the provision which said if an accused, with sexual intent, “touches the vagina, penis, anus or breast of the child or makes the child touch the vagina, penis, anus or breast of such person or any other person” then the offence of sexual assault is made out.

However, the second part of the provision said that for constituting the offence of sexual assault, an accused has to commit an act “which involves physical contact without penetration” and here the “skin-to-skin” interpretation creeps in.

Mr Luthra said the second part “requires sensitive interpretation”.

One must rely on different situations to see whether a given interpretation logically holds and when an offence has been clearly laid down then if there was any need to stretch one’s reasoning and rely on other provisions, the bench said.

“One must look at things from the victim’s perspective. If a pen is used to poke a person, there is no skin-to-skin touch and according to arguments advanced there is no sexual assault. But there is an invasion of privacy and violation of modesty of the child,” it said.

“If we accept the submission (on physical contact without cloth), what kind of results will we get. According to us, the results will be disastrous,” it observed.

Mr Luthra said the legislature consciously used the term ”physical act” in the second part of the provision.

“So, do we understand your submission that the first part skin to skin need not be there? According to you, in the second part skin to skin contact is essential,” the bench asked.

Another amicus curiae Siddhart Dave and others argued in the case and the counsel for Maharashtra adopted the submissions of Attorney General KK Venugopal who had vehemently argued for the setting aside of the verdict by the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court.

While reserving the verdict, the bench asked parties to file their written submissions within three days.

Mr Venugopal had earlier told the top court that the controversial verdict of the Bombay High Court would set a “dangerous and outrageous precedent” and needed to be reversed.

The top court, which was hearing separate appeals of Attorney General and the National Commission for Women (NCW), had on January 27 stayed the order which had acquitted a man under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act saying “groping a minor’s breast without ”skin to skin contact” cannot be termed as sexual assault”.

Two judgments were passed by Justice Pushpa Ganediwala of Bombay High Court (Nagpur Bench).

Earlier, while staying the judgements, the top court had also issued notice to the Maharashtra government and permitted the Attorney General to file an appeal against the verdict.

The verdict had said groping a minor’s breast without “skin-to-skin contact” cannot be termed as sexual assault as defined under the POCSO Act. Skin-To-Skin Condition.

It had said since the man groped the child without removing her clothes the offence cannot be termed as sexual assault but it does constitute the offence of outraging a woman’s modesty under IPC section 354.

The high court had modified the order of a sessions court, which had sentenced a 39-year-old man to three years of imprisonment for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

A letter from the hardline group has been received by the Indian government and is under review by the Civil Aviation Ministry.

India had stopped all commercial flight operations to Kabul after August 15, when the Taliban swept into the Afghan capital and took effective control of the war-torn country.

Last week the Taliban also appealed to airlines from other countries to resume operations, promising its complete co-operation and saying that all problems at the airport had been resolved.

The statement came as the Taliban steps up efforts to open up Afghanistan and gain international acceptance, as well as jumpstart a national economy on brink of collapse.

Taliban spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi told news agency Reuters that suspension of international flights had left Afghans stranded abroad and prevented people from traveling for work or study.

“As problems at Kabul International Airport have been resolved and the airport is fully operational for domestic and international flights, the IEA assures all airlines of its full cooperation,” he said.

आरोग्य विभागाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांचा ओळखपत्रातील त्रुटींमुळे गोंधळ;

नागपूर : राज्यात आरोग्य विभागाची क आणि ड संवर्गाची परीक्षा २५ आणि २६ सप्टेंबर रोजी होत आहेत. मात्र, ओळखपत्रावर दुसऱ्या राज्यातील परीक्षा केंद्र देण्यात आले आहे. या प्रकारामुळे परीक्षार्थ्यांमध्ये एकच गोंधळ उडाला आहे. मात्र, ही समस्या केवळ एकाच विद्यार्थ्याच्या बाबतीत घडलं असून त्याला तत्काळ दुरुस्त करण्यात आल्याचे आरोग्यमंत्री राजेश टोपे यांनी सांगितले.

आरोग्य विभागाच्या गट-क संवर्गातील पदासाठी २५ सप्टेंबरला तर गट-ड संवर्गातील पदासाठी २६ सप्टेंबरला लेखी परीक्षा आहे. यातील गट- क संवर्गातील २७३९ आणि गट- ड संवर्गातील ३४६६ अशा एकूण ६२०५ पदांचा समावेश आहे. राज्यातील १५०० केंद्रांवर एकाच वेळी ही भरती प्रक्रिया शासनाने निवडलेल्या खासगी बाह्य स्रोतांमार्फत केली जाणार आहे. या परीक्षा देण्यासाठी जे ओळखपत्रावर जाहीर करण्यात आले आहेत, त्यावर महाराष्ट्रातील अनेक विद्यार्थ्यांना उत्तर प्रदेशमध्ये परीक्षा केंद्र देण्यात आले आहे. तर, काहींना नोएडाचे परीक्षा केंद्र दाखवण्यात आले आहे. ओळखपत्रांवर अनेक त्रुटी असल्याने विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात संभ्रम निर्माण झाला आहे.

आरोग्यमंत्र्यांकडून स्पष्टीकरण

केवळ एका विद्यार्थ्याच्या हॉल तिकीटावर परीक्षा केद्राची पत्ता चुकला होता, तो तत्काळ दुरुस्त करण्यात आला आहे, असे टोपे म्हणाले. तांत्रिक कारणांमुळे अशी चूक झाली असून दुरुस्तीनुसार प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्याला त्यांचं ओळखपत्र इमेलवर देखील पाठवण्यात आलं असल्याचेही टोपे यांनी सांगितले.

Bodybuilder accuses actor Sahil Khan of mental harassment, defamation

Mumbai: Bodybuilder Manoj Patil who reportedly attempted suicide in Mumbai, a week ago, has accused actor Sahil Khan of mental harassment and social media defamation.

The former Mr. India contest winner in a press conference on Wednesday also alleged that the lack of action by the police over his written complaint against Khan at the Oshiwara Police Station pushed him to take the extreme step.

“Sahil Khan had a group of four people, who were constantly defaming me on social media. Sahil Khan had intentionally accused me of taking steroids and trading it, he was harassing me and this has mentally disturbed me,” Patil told reporters here on Wednesday.
“Before my suicide bid, I had given a written complaint in Oshiwara police station but police did not take any action, after which I was forced to take this step.”
Patil further alleged, “I wanted to prepare for the Olympics to make India famous, but Shahil Khan has shattered my dreams”.

The bodybuilder said that he has hope that the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Party will help and has also expressed hope of getting justice by going to court.

“All the allegations put on me by Sahil Khan are fake,” said Patil.

Meanwhile, actor Sahil Khan in a press conference last week denied the allegations made by Patil and said, “If Mumbai police find anything against me then it will take action but if this is a big racket then you must bust it. I am wrongly accused. I decided to come out in the media, to tell the truth, and I will definitely approach the police for this. FDA must intervene if there is steroid controversy in it.”
On September 16, Patil attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills and he was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.

नागपूर : अनेकांच्या घरी पाळीव प्राणी असतात आणि या पाळीव प्राण्यांवर घरच्या मुलांप्रमाणे जीव लावला जातो. या पाळीव प्राण्यांच्या प्रेमापोटी त्यांचे मालक त्यांचा वाढदिवस देखील थाटात साजरा करतात. कुत्रे, मांजर, गाय, बैल, पोपट अशा अनेक पाळीव प्राण्यांचे वाढदिवस अनेक कुटुंबात साजरे होताना आपण पाहतो. मात्र नागपुरात एका कुटुंबाने त्यांच्या कोंबड्याच्या वाढदिवस थाटात साजरा केलाय. या घटनेची चर्चा परिसरात रंगली असून कोंबड्याच्या वाढदिवसाचा व्हिडीओ सोशल मीडियावर चांगलाच व्हायरल होताना दिसत आहे.

नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील उमरेड मध्ये राहणाऱ्या कागदेलवार कुटुंबात “कुचा” नावाचा हा कोंबडा सर्वांचा लाडका आहे. 20 सप्टेंबर रोजी कागदेलवार कुटुंबियांनी कुचाचा वाढदिवस जोरात साजरा केला. त्याच्या वाढदिवसाचे काही व्हिडीओ आणि फोटो सध्या सोशियल मीडियावर प्रचंड वायरल होतंय. उमरेडच्या मंगळवारी पेठेत कुचा कागदेलवार कुटुंबियांसोबत राहतो. नुकतंच कागदेलवार कुटुंबात राहताना त्याला एक वर्ष पूर्ण झाले. त्यासाठी कुचाची मालकीण असलेल्या सुरभी कागदेलवार यांनी खास सजावट केली होती. या वेळी कुचाचे औक्षण करून गोडधोड खाऊ घालण्यात आले.

विशेष म्हणजे वर्षभरापूर्वी कुचा कोंबड्याचं पिल्लू असताना रस्त्यावर सापडला होता. कोंबड्या घेवून जाणाऱ्या गाडीतून तो पडला होता आणि जखमी झाला होता. सुरभीनं कुत्रा किंवा मांजर या कोंबड्याच्या पिल्लाला खाईल म्हणून त्या त्याला आपल्या घरी आणून त्याच्यावर उपचार केले होते. तेव्हापासून तो कागदेकर कुटुंबातील सदस्य झाला. 20 सप्टेंबरला कुटुंबात त्याला या घरात येऊन एक वर्ष पूर्ण झाले. त्या निमित्ताने त्याचा पहिला वाढदिवस साजरा करण्यात आला. यावेळी कुचासाठी श्रीखंड, काजू कतली, काजू -शेंगदाणे प्लेट मध्ये ठेवण्यात आले होते. शिवाय या कोंबड्याचा मित्र असलेल्या शेजारच्या बुलेट नावाच्या कुत्र्याला ही बोलावले होते. या कोंबड्याचा आयुष्यभर सांभाळ करणार असा कागदेलवार कुटुंबियांचा निर्धार आहे.

* आपल्या क्षेत्रासंबंधी अधिकाधिक माहिती मिळवा : तुम्हाला ज्या क्षेत्रात करिअर करायचे असेल त्या क्षेत्रासंबंधी जितकी अधिक माहिती मिळवता येईल तितकी मिळवा. त्या क्षेत्रात काम करणार्‍या आपल्या परिचित लोकांना भेटा. त्या करिअरमधील फायदे-तोटे, भविष्यातील संधी आदी माहिती परिचितांकडून जाणून घ्या.

* ग्लॅमरला भुलू नका : काही क्षेत्रांत केवळ ग्लॅमरला भुलून करिअरसाठी प्रवेश केला तर आपली फसगत होण्याची शक्यता असते. आपल्याला ग्लॅमर असलेल्या क्षेत्रात गती आहे का, त्या क्षेत्रातील ज्ञान आपल्याला आहे का? याचे आत्मपरीक्षण करा आणि मगच त्या क्षेत्रामध्ये प्रवेश करण्याचा निर्णय घ्या. ग्लॅमरला भुलून अशा क्षेत्रात प्रवेश केला तर कालांतराने आपल्या पदरी निराशा आणि अपेक्षाभंग येण्याची शक्यता असते. त्या स्थितीतून बाहेर पडणे अवघड होऊन जाते.

* सुट्टीमध्ये पूरक अभ्यासक्रम पूर्ण करा : आपण शिक्षण घेत असाल तर परीक्षा झाल्यानंतरच्या काळात एखादा अभ्यासक्रम आपण पूर्ण करू शकतो. दोन-तीन अथवा सहा महिन्यांचा कालावधी असलेला एखादा अभ्यासक्रम आपल्या करिअरमध्ये उपयोगी ठरू शकतो. आपल्याला ज्या क्षेत्रात करिअर करण्याची इच्छा आहे, त्या क्षेत्रात कोणता पूरक अभ्यासक्रम उपयुक्त ठरू शकतो याची माहिती मिळवा. एखाद्या भाषेचाही अभ्यासक्रम आपण पूर्ण करू शकता. जर्मन, स्पॅनिश, जापनीज अशा भाषांचे पदवी/पदविका अभ्यासक्रम आपले शिक्षण घेतानाच पूर्ण करता येऊ शकतात. परीक्षा संपल्यानंतरच्या उन्हाळी सुट्टीमध्ये असे अभ्यासक्रम आपण पूर्ण करू शकतो.
