Nagpur : Nagpur Chapter of ICSI organized a Workshop on Companies Act, 2013 on the theme “Decoding Companies Act: Empowering Compliance and Governance” at Nagpur Chapter Office Nagpur Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) hosted a Workshop on Companies Act, 2013 for members and students at Nagpur Chapter Office, 1st Floor, Shri Sai Prasad Enclave, Plot No.164, Vivekanad Nagpur, (M.H.) on 16th November 2024.
Chief Guest for the Workshop was CS B Narasimhan, the President of the ICSI The ceremony was graced by Secretary of WIRC of ICSI CS Deepti Joshi, Chairman of Nagpur Chapter of ICSI CS Bhavesh Thadani, the Vice-Chairman CS Mohit Batra, Secretary, CS Sumit Khicha, Treasurer CS Deesha Shroff, Committee members CS Khushal Bajaj , CS Harshal Killedar and CS Sarrah Hussain Katawala.
A press conference was also organized on the above occasion. The President of the ICSI ,CS B Narasimhan interacted with the media and emphasized on role of ICSI , Governance and Compliances ,ICSI international ADR Centre, The ICSI institute of social auditors ,The ICSI social audit standard, The ICSI startup and MSME catalyst, The ICSI National Award of Excellence in Corporate Governance Award, The ICSI UDIN, eCSin, ICSI Overseas centres, international Conference, ICSI new initiative for students, Corporate and security market compliances (CSMC), ICSI Guru Shrestha Award, International Commerce Olympiad and ICSI Commerce Olympiad, ICSI Academic Connect, ICSI Fee Waiver Scheme for Defence Personnel, Agniveers and Family of Martyrs, Concession in Fees for Students who lost their Parents, ICSI Students Education Fund Trust Two groups of panel discussion ware also organized on the above occasion on the topic Companies Act,2013 and on theme “Decoding Companies Act: Empowering Compliance and Governance “The panelists of first groups of panel discussion were CS Sunil Zone & CS Chanchal Rathod and CS Omprakash Bagdia was the moderator. The panelists of the second group of panel discussion were CS Pooja Luthra & CS Jai Sodani and CS Sarrah Hussain Katawala was the moderator.
The Workshop commenced with the interaction of the President of the ICSI with the members & the students of Nagpur Chapter. The event witnessed a participation of around 70 delegates, including Insolvency Professionals, Company Secretaries, Advocates, , and Senior Officials.
