Nagpur based LB Consumer Goods Pvt. Ltd. has recently re-launched its Ray Cooking Spray marking the group’s entry into the growing FMCG industry.

According to the company, USP of the Ray Cooking Spray is that it offers optimum amount of oil through a spray nozzle for cooking purposes. This helps in cutting down the excess oil in the diet, without sacrificing on the taste.

While the earlier version contained propellants and emulsifiers, this time all preservatives have been removed. At the same time, the nozzle design has also been revamped making it leak proof and unmovable. This helps to secure the oil and manage its use in a better manner. The tin can have been now replaced with high-quality food grade aluminum can. The company says that this is the first time in India that clean Aerosol Technology is being used without any gases or propellants. Ray Cooking Spray now is pure refined oil in continuous spray without any propellants, gases or emulsifiers for thinning.

Cooking sprays being commonly used worldwide are helpful in restricting the amount of fats in the diet. With this re-launch, efforts will be made to raise awareness about the benefits of cooking sprays and how they can be instrumental in helping people achieve their fitness goals.

Each can of Ray Cooking Spray (200 ml) equals to 2.4 Litres of regular cooking oil thereby reducing fat content up to 80%.

The Spray also makes it easier to grease the utensils for baking purposes. One spray of the Ray Cooking Spray is equivalent to that of a pat of butter or 1-2 tablespoons of oil would do.

The spray would be available in four variants- Rice Bran, Olive, Groundnut, and Sunflower. The product is available in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and all leading E-Commerce Platforms. In the later phase, the product’s markets would be expanded to rest of the country.
