Nagpur : A five-year-old girl was crushed under a pile of bricks after a dilapidated wall fell on her on Thursday at Nagraj Nagar. Joma Salamni was playing with her friends when the incident took place.
According to police, Joma and her friends were throwing stones at a free to collect berries near their house. One of the children accidentally touched the vulnerable wall which fell on Joma.
Children told some people who took Joma to Mayo Hospital where she died during treatment.
Joma’s father Nasim works as a labourer and has two more children.
Police said the wall was at a plot owned by Ashish Sapkal. Kalamna police have registered a case of accidental death. Joma’s post mortem was conducted on Friday at Mayo Hospital.
