Nagpur demands justice for Bhairav, another victim of animal cruelty in the city

Animal activists and animal lovers of the city will be gathering today for a mass protest from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Samvidhan Square.

Another case of animal cruelty has been reported in the city. A video is being circulated on social media in which the condition of the dog can be seen who has been beaten brutally to death.

 The culprit is a retired BSP man- Arjun Chandanbatwe from Koradi, Nagpur has brutally beaten a dog with a rod and dragged the dog out of the society, resulting in one eye popping out and several serious physical injuries.

Arjun hired a man specifically to throw the dog into the jungle named Ashok Bele. A concerned neighbor when saw Arjun and Ashok doing such an inhuman thing reached out to the animal activist.

The dog got immediate medical attention from vet Reena in Jaripatka, later the dog was shifted to the Rise for Tails NGO. Before the vet at rise could check the dog, he passed away.

An FIR has been done against the culprit by the animal activists.
