Nagpur : City’s youngsters promote veganism at Futala

Date:

Nagpur : The local vegan activists gathered at Futala Lake recently with placards and explained the trauma and pain animals in the meat, dairy and egg industries have to go through.

“The purpose of this event is to remind the public where their food comes from, ” shared Palash Madakwar, the Vegan India Movement city coordinator for Nagpur. Another activist Darshita Taunk said, “Most people don’t approve of animal cruelty, but are disconnected from the suffering that animals go through for the food on their plate. Showing this footage allows us to start a dialogue and encourage the public to realign their actions to their values.”
