Nagpur : City Celebrated ‘International Tiger day’

Nagpur : 29TH July is universally celebrated as Tiger day. People and Organisations all world over frantically celebrate this occasion with various ethics. Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite and Vanarai Foundation celebrated this day by taking up responsibility of handing over utility kits to people who are actively involved in the process of Tiger conservation.

Nagpur has a large Forest area attached near it and has always been recalled as the TIGER CAPITAL of India. The Tiger population in our forests is increasing and the overall awareness for their conservation is also becoming popular. This is helping in securing the future of the Forests along with Tigers and Wild animals at a large.

Many enthusiasts came together to celebrate this moment today. On this occasion Shri. Ajay Patil quoted the importance of Tigers and also gave the details about the Tiger population spread in various pockets throughout our country. He also pressed upon the need to put in more and more efforts for the protection and conservation of our Tiger population.

Mrs. Pragati Patil President, Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite and Chairperson of Women & Child Development Committee , Municipal Corporation Nagpur said that Rotary Club has always been active in Social and Community Building humanitarian activities and also taken up the task of conservation of forests and the Tigers which is the base of Eco-Tourism in our area responsible for the economical betterment of our area and provides employment for youth in the surrounding areas.

On this ocassion Dr.Pinak Dande, Shri. Nilesh Khandekar, Shri.Abhishek Mahure, Sachin deshmukh, Gauri Patil, Vishal Gupta, Harjyot Mulla, Harpritkaur Mulla,Sana Pandit, Vidyasagar Fulzele, Manish Dhote, Dr.Anubha Dande, , Sanskruti Patil and Nitin Jatkar, Mr anu kale Chabrani of Swacch Nagpur were present on this ocassion.
