Electing to bowl, Jaydev Unadkat (3-15) and Mustafizur Rahman (2-29) helped Rajasthan Royals restrict Delhi Capitals to below-par 147/8 at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. After losing four wickets inside 7 overs, Rishabh Pant (51) and Lalit Yadav (20) added 51 runs for the fifth wicket to rebuild the Delhi Capitals innings. Chris Morris (36* off 18 balls) finished the innings in style with four massive sixes to give the Royals their first win of the season.
IPL 2021 Jaydev Unadkat (11* off 7), who took 3 for 15 in 4 overs, played his part with the bat too, adding a match-winning 46 runs for the 8th wicket in just 23 balls. Chris Morris smacked two sixes off Kagiso Rabada in it. Rabada returned figures of 2 for 30 in 4 overs. The Capitals had worked so hard to get themselves into a dominant position despite having just 147 on the board. With Miller’s wicket, they were favorites. But Morris was standing in the way, cashing in on missed yorkers and ordinary slower balls.
