Minor leaves home after dad’s scolding for kite flying, found

NAGPUR : A 16-year-old boy left his house after his father scolded him for flying kites. He was found on Saturday near Ganeshpeth bus stand.

The Std XI student was scolded by his father when he was flying kite near his house at NIT Layout, New Mhalgi Nagar, on Saturday afternoon. The boy left the house in a fit of rage. His father along with other relatives started searching for him, but he was nowhere to be found. The father then approached Hudkeshwar police station where a case of kidnapping was registered as per directions of Supreme Court in cases related to missing minors.

Police and relatives of the boy continued to search for him. The boy was finally found by the family at the bus stand.
