The much awaited sports event Khasdar Krida Mahotsav for the year 2023 will begin, with the announcement of the itinerary and handing over flags to the participating sports organisations.
The event has been conceptualised by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and gets an overwhelming response every year. Several talented sports persons make this opportunity to show their talent and attract the attention of selectors at regional, state and national levels.
Renowned bodybuilder and actor Thakur Anup Sinh; wrestler Sangita Fogat and Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awardee Paralympic Gold Medal winner Devendra Zanzaria, will be the guests for the programme to be held at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha, Reshimbag, here at 6.30 pm on Saturday.
Legislators Pravin Datke, Nago Ganar, Krishna Khopde, Vikas Kumbhare, Mohan Mate, Sameer Meghe, Tekchand Aawarkar; Ex-MPs Dr Vikas Mahatme and Ajay Sancheti, former legislators Girish Vyas, Anil Sole, Sudhakar Deshmukh, Sudhakar Kohale, Dr Milind Mane will be prominent among those present.
