KBC Got Second Crorepati, couldn’t answer this Rs 7 crore question

On Tuesday’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, IPS officer Mohita Sharma became the second crorepati contestant of the ongoing season.

On Monday, the episode had come to an end after she won Rs 40,000. Impressed by her game, host Amitabh Bachchan also followed her on social media.

she gave the right answer to the Rs 1 crore worth question. The question which made her a crorepati was

Q.Which of these explosives was first patented in 1898 by German chemist Georg Friedrich Henning and first used in World War II?

Options: HMX, RDX, TNT, and PETN

Mohita was not sure about the correct answer and decided to use the expert advice lifeline. The expert, Pankaj Pachauri, helped her with the right answer which was RDX.

Mohita went ahead with the answer and created history by becoming the first civil servant and IPS officer as crorepati on the show.

After winning Rs 1 crore, Mohita decided to quit the game. Mohita also became the second contestant of this season to attempt the Rs 7 crore question.

Here is the Rs 7 crore question which she couldn’t answer:
Q. Launched in 1817, which of these ships built by the Wadia Group in Bombay is the oldest British warship still afloat?

Options: HMS Minden, HMS Cornwallis, HMS Meanee, HMS Trincomalee

The right answer to this question is HMS Trincomalee.

Mohita, who is an IPS officer of the 2017 batch, is currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir. She is married to an Indian Forest Service officer Rushal Garg and credited her husband for encouraging her to be on the show.

Last week, the Delhi-based Indian Institute of Mass Communication alumna, Nazia Nasim, created history by becoming the first crorepati contestant of KBC 12.
