Kangana Ranaut film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi trailer Out today. A number of revelations were made including the fact that Amitabh Bachchan gave the voice over, much like he did in Aamir Khan’s Lagaan. Though we did get quite a few shots of several action sequences featuring Kangana Ranaut fighting the soldiers of the British Empire, but it left us wanting for more.
While we got a number of quick shots in the teaser of the film, the trailer however, delves deep into the story and portrays several other characters in the film played by Danny Denzongpa, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni and others.

The visuals of the trailer are breath-taking and from the scope of the battles and other action set pieces, it looks like Kangana Ranaut’s historical epic drama will be a sight to remember.
Manikarnika has already had quite a few ups and downs during the making of the film. First the director of the film, Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi left the project mid-way after rumours of her feud with the director began to make rounds.
A few weeks later, another lead actor in the film – Sonu Sood also left the project and had a very public spat with Kangana following his departure.
Add to that, in September, rumours of the film going above budget was also making headlines following which a senior producer at Zee Studios was sacked for green lighting the reshoots of the film which ended up costing the production company a fortune. But finally, the film seems ready and raring to go.
In addition to Kangana Ranaut, the film also stars TV sensation Ankita Lokhande as Jalkari Bai, Richard Keep as general High Rose, Danny Denzongpa, Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni, Yash Tonk, Suresh Oberoi and Amit Behl. Manikarnika will hit theatres on January 25.
