A few days ago, Kajol was busy promoting his upcoming film Helicopter Eela with full zeal. The film was slated to release on September 7. However, as per recent developments, the Riddhi Sen-starrer will not release on its scheduled date. Instead, it has been pushed further to October 12. Announcing the news, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter, “New release date for #HelicopterEela: 12 Oct 2018… Since director Pradeep Sarkar is diagnosed with dengue, Ajay Devgn has taken a decision to resume work on the film after Sarkar is discharged from hospital… Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada have now shifted the film to 12 Oct.”

Helicopter Eela’s director Pradeep Sarkar has been diagnosed with dengue, due to which the film has been postponed for more than a month.
Helicopter Eela is a light-hearted emotional and comedy film which revolves around a single mother Eela and her teenage son, played by none other than National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen. The film also stars Neha Dhupia and Tota Roy Chaudhary. It has been bankrolled by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada.
