Richa Sharma visit Nagpur to promote Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Nagpur : Some shows become popular, a few others attain cult status, but very rarely does a show become an institution in itself. Season after season, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has not only reinvented music but brought the entire nation together to celebrate pure, unadulterated singing. After the raging success of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs last year, Zee TV recently launched an exciting new season of its most iconic singing reality show- Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. With the core thought of music for all – #MusicSeBaneHum, the new season celebrates music as the one universal language that unites mankind and propels it towards growth. Sending out a strong message of all- inclusiveness and standing up against discrimination over caste, creed, colour, community, religion and sexuality, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa focuses its spotlight on talent alone.

After rounds of grueling auditions, the show now has Top 11 immensely talented contestants vying for the coveted trophy.  To promote the show mentor Richa along with the contestants of her gharana  Sahil Solanki and  Tanmay Chaturvedi is in Nagpur today.  They will enthrall the audiences of Nagpur with power-packed performances at the concert in the city from 6 PM onwards at Gandhi Hindi Primary School, Gadikhana, Near Model Chowk, Nagpur.

Mentor Richa Sharma said , “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is the definitive platform for singing talent in the country, I have been a part of Zee TV from over a decade as host of the first ever non-fiction music show on television Antakshari and have been a part of episodes of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa as a special guest earlier. It is an honour and privilege to be a part of the panel of judges this season along with Shekhar and Wajid. The judges have selected the finest talent form the auditions process. I love all the contestants, they are amazingly talented. As a judge, I’ll give my best and help my gharana scale their fullest potential and groom them into well-rounded music professionals. Talking about her visit, Richaadded, “I’m looking forward to the concert and I’m sure it will be a grand one. It feels great to be in Nagpur today. Contestant Tanmay Chaturvedi said, “I have been a part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l champs 2008 and it feels great to be back on this prestigious platform as a contestant again. Every contestant brings about their uniqueness on stage and I am too looking forward to entertain the audiences with my singing style and I hope they enjoy watching me and support me through my musical journey at Sa Re Ga Ma Pa”
