Over the years, television actor Jiya Chauhan has become a popular household name in the industry. Jiya who has made a strong mark on screen with her presence will soon be seen playing Parvati in &TV’s Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein. It also marks her comeback in the mythology genre, who is elated to be a part of this show.
Sharing her joy of playing Goddess Parvati, Jiya Chauhan says, “I and thrilled to explore the mythology genre all over again. In Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein, I will be playing Goddess Parvati after a long time. I have been following the show, and it feels good to know that I have been given a wonderful opportunity to play such a strong role. Having lost touch with the genre, I have been reading devotional kathas to get a grip on the language along with frequent meditation sessions to bring about the required calmness in character. It is challenging but at the same time satisfying to play a Goddess on-screen, and with regular practice, I plan to master it all over again.”
The upcoming fresh episodes of Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein will highlight high-voltage drama between Singhasan Singh and Swati, an ardent devotee of SantoshI Maa. Singhasan Singh, who is determined to throw Swati, his daughter-in-law, out of the house, will bring the entire community together along with his family to perform Santoshi Maa Vrat to get a vardaan. It will put Santoshi Maa in a dilemma to choose between the Dharma and Adharma, her ardent devotee, Swati, and the evil, Singhasan Singh.
Produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, ‘Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein’ is the captivating story that captures the pure connection between ‘Bhakt and Bhagwan’.
