After winning several hearts in India, Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar‘s One of 2017’s biggest sleeper hits Hindi Medium has officially released in China today. And looks like it has taken an impressive opening. Released in a slightly lesser screen space than Dangal, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Hindi Medium has already raked in $810K in China on day 1 through ticket sales.
Bollywood trade analyst Ramesh Bala gave details on Tuesday about the movie release.

Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar’s film is a heartwarming tale of a couple from Delhi, who aspire to give their daughter the best education to be a part of and accepted by the elite of the city. But when their daughter fails to secure admission into the top school of Delhi, they pose as poor people to get her admission through the below poverty line quota. What follows is something that will surely entertain you. With such an interesting story line we are sure the Chinese audience will love Hindi Medium.
Irrfan will be seen again on the big screens at home this Friday with his latest release, Blackmail.
