India opener Shikhar Dhawan is all set to return to Delhi Daredevils after playing six seasons with Sunrisers Hyderabad. In a trade-off between the two teams, Dhawan was bagged by the Delhi team in place of Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma and Shahbaz Nadeem.
The move has come after Dhawan was unhappy for not being retained by the side during the 2018 auction — David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were retained. He was later brought to the team by using the Right to Match card, for a price of 5.2 Cr. An official release from Sunrisers stated the same.

Dhawan is one of the world’s premier limited-overs batsmen. He was man-of-the-series in the Asia Cup but had a poor time in the ODI series against the West Indies.
Brace yourselves, for he has returned, where it all began!
