IMT Nagpur will host 5th iteration of its sustainability conference on September 28 and 29 at the institute campus on Katol Road. The conference has been providing a platform for academicians, scientists, industry professionals and Government agencies to come together and share the insights on developments in the front of sustainable development and growth.
The conference has emerged a platform, for various stakeholders to discuss the challenges surrounding sustainability and imperatives for including these challenges in management strategy by organisations. Fifth International Conference on Sustainability & Management Strategy (ICSMS) will be hosted by Center for Sustainable Growth & Development (CSGD) IMT Nagpur in association with CSIR NEERI Nagpur and California State University, San Bernardino, USA as technical and academic partners.
Previous sustainability conference saw rich exchange of ideas amongst participants from diverse backgrounds and reputed affiliations. September conference this year will see participants discussing management strategy challenges related to environmental sustainability, green products, clean energy, solid waste management, water resources conservation and responsible as well as ethical consumption of finite resources.
Around 70 participants from a variety of places like IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, NMIMS Mumbai, University of Madras, Delhi Technical University, etc., will be participating in the conference. The institute authorities have expressed pleasure on the arrangement of conference.
