‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign: NMC Selfie stand dedicated to public

Nagpur Municipal Corporation will launch ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (Tricolour at every home) campaign from August 13 to 15 to mark Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava. Under this programme, Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, NMC, dedicated Selfie Stand to public on Monday at the administrative building of the corporation.

It is expected that the national flag would be displayed at the houses of five lakh citizens on their own cost during this period in order to promote national feelings, inspiration and honour Independence. The corporation will make available the flags for the citizens as well as to poor students of NMC schools.

Radhakrishnan appealed to citizens to participate in this campaign with enthusiasm and present the flags to economically backward persons. The citizens can use cotton, silk, polyster, woollen and khadi. They should take selfie of family with the tricolour displayed at homes and tag it to MNC social media. Selected selfies would be released on this social media.

Dipak Kumar Meena, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Ravindra Bhelawe, Deputy Commissioner, Piyush Ambulkar, Sports Officer, and others were present.
