Nagpur : Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Saturday flagged off Humsafar Express at Ajni station after Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged it off in Panharkawada. Bawankule extended best wishes to the passengers of the train.
The programme held at Ajni Station was attended by Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Rajya Sabha member Dr Vikas Mahatme, MLAs Krishna Khopde, Dr Milind Mane, BJP leader Arvind Gajbhiye, Additional Divisional Rail Manager Trilok Kothari, Chief Engineer Manoj Joshi and others.
There was a demand for a new fast train for Pune since a long time, which has been fulfilled today, Bawankule said and thanked PM Modi, Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal and Union Minister for Road and Surface Transport Nitin Gadkari.
The railway administration had made arrangements of live telecast of Modi’s programme in Pandharkawada due to which the people present at Ajni station could watch PM’s entire programme live and listen to his speech.
