Nagpur: The General Practitioners Conference – GPCON 2025, organised with the objective “To learn the advancements and latest updates in Gastroenterology and Medicine”, was successfully held at VCA Club, Jamtha, Nagpur on 23rd August 2025. The purpose of the conference was to create awareness about the recent advances in the field of General Medicine and Gastroenterology. Such conferences are highly beneficial in updating the knowledge of family physicians, enabling them to enhance their day-to-day medical practice. This year, the event witnessed the participation of over 500 doctors and family physicians.
The conference was inaugurated with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Cabinet Minister for Revenue, Government of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister for Nagpur and Amravati districts, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. He was joined by Dr. Shrikant Mukewar, Organising Chairperson – GPCON 2025 and Managing Director, Midas Hospital, Dr. Saurabh Mukewar, Organising Secretary – GPCON 2025 and Director, Midas Hospital, Wardha Road, Nagpur along with Dr. Shubhankar Godbole,Organising Secretary and Dr. Bhushan Bawre, Organising Secretary who were also key persons present on the occasion.
