Garba Events in Nagpur
Garba is a form of dance that originated in the state of Gujarat in India. The name is derived from the Sanskrit term Garbha. Many traditional Garba is performed around a centrally lit lamp or a picture or statue of the Goddess Shakti. Traditionally, it is performed during the nine-day Hindu festival Navaratri.
People all over India are seen in traditional attire as they participate in Dandiya Raas and attend the live Garba festival after the Durga Puja. Enthused youngsters join Garba classes and dandiya groups. Women buy Chaniya Cholis while men are seen in Kediyus for the Garba Nights. Navaratri is an important major festival and is celebrated all over India. Like any other city, Nagpur is all set to welcome and celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm.
