Lipstick Under My Burkha was a game changer in more ways than one. The film broke stereotypes, challenged the existing patriarch mindset and definitely made men and women of all age groups sit up and take notice of women and their desires.
The makers of the film are back and this time, with another women-led project. Alankrita Shrivastava and Konkona Sen Sharma have joined hands with Ekta Kapoor and announced their next film titled Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. The film, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar, is currently in its filming stage.

While with Lipstick Under My Burkha, the makers urged men to join the Lipstick revolution, this time, the makers wish to create a REBELution. Lipstick Under My Burkha did start a conversation about women and their desires but looks like, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare will turn it into a full-fledged revolution now.
