Mr. Balunywa Baker Attache, Ugandan High Commission, recently paid a courtesy visit to Datta Meghe Medical College and Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre. He commended Team DMMC and SMHRC for their outstanding academic and clinical work. He also praised the positive reputation earned by SMHRC in just four years, which has attracted patients from far and wide seeking medical care. DMMC is a constituent unit of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research, currently one of India’s top-ranked health universities.
Dr. Anup Marar, CEO (Healthcare) of the Meghe Group of Institutions and Director of DMIHER Off Campus, welcomed him with a traditional shawl and shreefal. Dr. Brij Raj Singh, Vice Dean of DMMC, guided him through the state-of-the-art Central Museum, Simulation Lab, Skill Workshops, and the college infrastructure. Meanwhile, Dr. Vasant Gawande, Chief Medical Superintendent of SMHRC, showcased the facilities and services available in the 895-bedded SMHRC Complex.
