New Delhi, June 20: The number of corona sufferers in the country is on the rise. Today, for the seventh day in a row, the number of new patients is more than 10,000. Today, in 24 hours, 14 thousand 516 new patients were found. This is the highest figure ever. With this, the total number of corona sufferers has now gone up to 4 lakh households.
So far, 375 patients have died in the last 24 hours. At present there are 3 lakh 95 thousand 048 total corona patients in the country. Of these, 1 lakh 68 thousand 269 are active patients. So, 2 lakh 13 thousand 831 patients have recovered. So far 12 thousand 948 patients have died.
On the other hand, India’s recovery rate is increasing. The recovery rate has now gone up from 53.8% to 54.1%. Although Maharashtra has the highest number of patients in the country, it is a comforting statistic. The number of healthy patients in Maharashtra for the last 5 days is 50%. In the last 24 hours, 3827 new patients were registered in Maharashtra. So, 1935 patients became healthy. The total number of patients in Maharashtra has now reached 1 lakh 24 thousand 331. So, 62 thousand 773 patients have recovered.
The recovery rate is higher by 50% in 25 states in India. Currently, only 10 states have lower health patient numbers than new patients.
