Nagpur : In a major breakthrough, Crime branch unit 2 rounded up two notorious vehicle lifters and recovered seven two-wheelers stolen from different areas.
Cops arrested Mohammed Abid Haneef Ansari, resident of Taka Sidharth Nagar and Mohammed Dilshad Mohd Raees Ansari, resident of Mominpura, near Abbumiya Masjid.
The seized two-wheelers include five Activa mopeds, one Jupitor moped and one Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle collectively worth Rs. 3.25 lakh. With the arrest of the two accused, the Crime branch has cracked seven vehicle lifting cases including three cases in Jaripatka police jurisdiction, three in Panchpaoli and one case in Abazari police jurisdiction.
The arrest was made by Police Inspector Anchal Mudgal, API Jitendra Bobde, PSI Rajkumar Tripathi, ASIs Mohanlal Shahu, Sitanath Pandey and other staff including Prashant Deshmukh, Santosh Madankar, Santosh Nikhar, Manjit Singh Thakur, Yogesh Gupta, Sagar Thakre under the guidance of DCP Sambhaji Kadam and ACP Sanjiv Kamble.
