Nagpur : Giving an impetus to the art fabric of city, the Chief Minister has approved Jagnade Maharaj Bhuvan project which will comprise an art gallery and library focusing on Santaji Jagnade Maharaj. The project will be constructed at Jagnade Square in East Nagpur.
BJP MLA from East Nagpur Krishna Khopde informed that Fadnavis released Rs1 crore of total estimated cost of Rs3.05 crore on September 24. “Fadnavis had assured to approve the project at the birth anniversary celebrations programme of the Maharaj.
Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) will develop the project. “NIT through architect Swapnil Warbhe prepared design of the building. Of total area of 8,000 sq ft, the building with have built up area of 3,534.52 sq ft and necessary infrastructure will come up at an estimated cost of Rs3.05 crore,” he said.
Khopde said it will be the first project related to Santaji Jagnade Maharaj in the city. He expressed gratitudes towards union minister Nitin Gadkari and guardian minister Chandrashekar Bawankule for pursuing the project.
