Nagpur: Encouraged by the success of the six consecutive Buddha Festivals in 2011 to 2018, Buddha Festival 2019 is organized on 23- 27 January 2019 at Dikshabhumi, Nagpur, the modern capital of Buddhism in India.
Nagpur Buddhist Centre (a unit of Triratna Bouddha Mahasangha) has again taken the initiative to promote the righteous way & the true heritage of India through art & culture.
A press conference was held at Dikshabhoomi premises on January 10 by Chief coordinator Dr. Sunil Talware where he informed about the 5 day festsival. He also informed that inauguration will be done by the hands of Chief guest Dr. Sukhdeo Thorat.
The salient features if the festival will be various cultural fest, Buddhist, and Democracy on January 24, 25, 26 by many prominent speakers.
The workshops on Business to Customer and Youth empowerment along with football tournament will be held for boys under 15 years of age on January 20, 21 and 22.
The festival will also feature many exciting features like food zone, artifacts zone. art gallery and kids one.
