Nagpur : An Australian Rotary Team (ART) is on a visit to the city as guests of Rotary Club of Nagpur South (RCNS) from January 20 to 28. Prior to the visit, a two-day Satellite (Pre-Melghat) Surgical Camp was held, which was attended by a team of doctors and Rotary members.
A special family meeting was held at the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Hall in the city. This was followed by an interaction between the members of the Australian Rotary team and members of the Nagpur Rotary Enclave at Rotary Hall, Hadas High School. During the interaction, discussions were held about Rotary projects in Australia and India and other subjects of common interests. After this interaction all the guests joined the family meeting.
A documentary of about 20-minutes filmed during the Melghat Surgical Camp by James, a professional photographer, and a Member of the ART, was screened. A ladies Makar Sankrant programme was also organised on the sidelines of the various events. The Australian delegates specially, women folk enjoyed the til gud programme and haladi kumkum.
