Asha Bhosle to receive Maharashtra Bhushan Award in the city

Legendary playback singer, Asha Bhosle will soon be presented with the Maharashtra Bhusan award in the city said the State Cultural Minister, Sudhir Mungantiwar on Wednesday.

Starting her career in the year 1943, Bhosle was also mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most-recorded artist in history. The younger sibling of the late Lata Mangeshkar received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in the year 2008.

The function is likely to be held on December 21 or 22, 2022 at Yashwant Stadium, Dhantoli.
