Nagpur : Veteran theatre artist and film actor Rajit Kapur inaugurated the second season of expressions Film Festival at St Ursula Girls’ High School with the help of Milind Patil Creative Head of Pin Drop Sound and Shailesh Narwade.
Present on the dais were actor Rajit Kapur, veteran theatre artist of Nagpur Ganesh Naidu, Principal of St Ursula Girls’ High School Rachana Singh, Sponsor Inu Majumdar, Kartik Shende of Vithoba Group, Sudatta Ramteke, Rajesh Batra, Sandeep Gujar, Jagdish Palia of UCN, Milind Patil and Shailesh Narwade.
Ganesh Naidu was feted and conferred with the coveted ‘eXpressions-Prize for Genius’ award. Speaking after the felicitation, Naidu, who was introduced by RJ Abhay, spoke of his one principle which he followed in life and continues to do so – to be honest, do well and do the best in life. His dedication to the task at hand was visible in all the plays that he was involved in.
Milind Patil spoke of the concept of the film festival and praised the cooperation of Rachana Singh, Inu Majumdar and other sponsors. Appreciating the event, Singh said that it was creativity being brought out in a different way. Giving opportunity to girl students to imbibe values and get good exposure to cinema. Others who also spoke were Inu Majumdar, Kartik Shende, S Ramteke, Jagdish Palia and Rajesh Batra.
