The Indian team list will once again have the famous Tendulkar surname back as legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar was included in U-19 side for the two four-day games against Sri Lanka. Standing at 6ft 1inch, the 18 year old Arjun is a left arm fast bowler and a handy lower middle order batsman.
Being a star kid is never easy. Nobody knows this better in the world of cricket than Arjun Tendulkar. Arjun, the son of legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is being closely tracked by the media in his cricket career. Every time he does something on the field, or when he does not do anything, he ends up getting a headline.

Unlike his father Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar is not a batsman. He is a left arm pace bowler who loves to take on the batsmen with his new cherry. Also, he is a handy lower middle-order batsman.
He failed to make it to the limited overs U19 side but has found a place in the longer formats. His father, Sachin Tendulkar, is very proud of the achievement that his son has got. He recently remarked that he fully supports Arjun in the choices that the latter makes in his cricket career. He also rightly pointed out that being selected in the U19 side is a big milestone for Arjun.
“We are happy on Arjun being selected in India U-19 team. It is an important milestone in his cricketing life. Anjali (Tendulkar) and I will always support Arjun in his choices and pray for his success,” Tendulkar told.
