Amaal And Armaan Malik’s ‘Ghar se Nikalte hi’ song coming tommorrow, teaser released
Any ’90s kid would completely agree that the song ‘Ghar Se Nikalte Hi’ from the 1996 film Papa Kehte Hai evokes major nostalgia. Udit Narayan’s inimitable voice coupled with Jugal Hansraj’s innocence, and the exotic beach at the background, made for a beautiful song that has stood the test of time, even if nobody remembers the film.
Now, the talented singer-music composer duo Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik are all set to recreate the song. The original song was penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Rajesh Roshan, the new song has been written by Kunal Verma and Armaan will lend his voice to the track. It will also feature Armaan in the video.
Speaking about the song, Singer Armaan said, “Bhushanji (Bhushan Kumar) had played this song to me in his office and he said he wanted me to do this song as my next single as it had this boy-next-door vibe to it and felt that I would fit it perfectly,”
“Amaal already knew this song and was a fan of the melody and the composer Rajesh Roshanji. When he learned that I also featured in the video, Amaal, without any hesitation said that he wants to work on it and give it his twist. From there on, the song just kept on getting grander and much more beautiful than what I had in mind for it,” Armaan added added.
He also revealed that the song has been recomposed in a way where they have retained only the opening line, rest everything is improvised. The shooting has taken place in a place called Chania which exudes an “old-world charm.”
